'Falling/fearing beauty' (2023 – present) is an ongoing series of paintings which challenge our conception of beauty and intimacy in the contemporary sociocultural landscape. A landscape characterized by flows of information and overstimulation which appropriate and encroach our time. In this series, I’m aiming to recover the fragments of beauty lost in the aforementioned flows, disarticulating them from the conventional aesthetics by which they are surrounded and reconfiguring them according to my experiences.
